The Consulate handles matters related to war pensions (pensioni di guerra).
For all other pension matters, including:
- Italian seniority pension (pensione di anzianità) and its requirements;
- survivor’s pension (reversibilità) or cancellation of the benefit upon the death of the beneficiary;
- totalization of contribution periods for work performed in Italy and the United States,
please contact one of the local patronato offices. They provide free consultation and handle submitting the pension application in Italy.
