ITALIANO: LEZIONI DI SOSTENIBILITÀ
The 23rd edition of the “Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo” will focus on the theme of Italian and Sustainability. In recognition of Italy’s position at the forefront of environmental issues in the world.
The year 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of renowned Italian “green” author Italo Calvino. This gave us the idea to create a contest for students based on Calvino and the theme of sustainability. This resulted in a contest entitled Italiano: lezioni di sostenibilità, to recall the famous American Lectures Calvino was writing for Harvard shortly before he passed away.
The contest is open to all students of Italian at colleges and universities in the Consular jurisdiction (Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont).
