{"id":511,"date":"2023-05-25T10:00:10","date_gmt":"2023-05-25T14:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consboston.esteri.it\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/stato-civile\/trascrizione-atto-di-morte\/"},"modified":"2023-05-31T10:35:45","modified_gmt":"2023-05-31T14:35:45","slug":"trascrizione-atto-di-morte","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/consboston.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/stato-civile\/trascrizione-atto-di-morte\/","title":{"rendered":"Register a death certificate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In order to transcribe a death occurred in the territorial jurisdiction of this Consulate General &#8211; Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island amd Vermont, the following documents must be provided to this Office:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified copy of the death certificate full form<\/li>\n<li>Apostille from the Secretary of State to be attached to the certified copy of the death certificate<\/li>\n<li>Translation in Italian language of the death certificate\n<ul>\n<li>Vital records certificates (birth, marriage, civil union and death) can be translated by the applicant if the translation follows the following guidelines, alternatively a professional translator must be hired.
