Mogol visita Boston

On the occasion of the Italian Heritage Month, we are deeply honored to welcome Maestro Mogol to the United States, accompanied by Prof. Angelo Valori, faculty at the Conservatory “Luisa D’Annunzio” of Pescara, Italy. After having received the special recognition for his “extraordinary contribution to Italian Language and Music”, bestowed on him Monday by Maestro Stefano Marchese at the Massachusetts State House, Mogol’s visit to Boston continued Tuesday with a meeting with students and professors of the Italian department at Harvard University, headed by Prof. Elvira Di Fabio (see photo). Wednesday Mogol took part in a book signing open to the public at Eataly Boston, located within the Prudential Center featuring his autobiography #Mogol: Il mio mestiere è vivere la vita” (Mogol: My job is to live life). Thursday Mogol will meet faculty and students at Berklee College of Music and a concert in his honor will be held inside the David Friend Recital Hall at 7 p.m. The concert is presented by Maestro Andrea Pejrolo, and will be performed by the Boston-based Italian band Scanzonati, featuring Pejrolo and Stefano Marchese, with arrangements by Pejrolo, Marchese. Before his departure, Mogol will also visit the Eliot K-8 Innovation School, in the heart of the North End, Boston’s Little Italy.
